Geek Bar Pulse X 2 vs Pulse X: what is the difference
The Pulse X's figures are all on geekbar.com. The Pulse X 2's mostly are not. What the maker publishes, what it footnotes, and what only retailers say.
The Geek Bar Pulse X 2 succeeds the Pulse X. The maker’s Pulse X page states Regular 25K puffs, Pulse 15K, 18 mL and 5% nicotine; its Pulse X 2 page text states one figure, 50,000 puffs, footnoted as Regular-mode GEEKLAB internal testing. The 25,000 Pulse-mode count and “discontinued” are retailer claims, not the maker’s.
The retail blogs on this results page repeat the same four numbers and cite nobody; this desk read the maker’s pages on 15 September 2026 and tagged each figure by publisher.
Geek Bar Pulse X 2 vs Pulse X: what is the difference, figure by figure
| Figure | Pulse X | Pulse X 2 | Who states it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular-mode puffs | 25K | 50,000* | Maker, both |
| Pulse-mode puffs | 15K | 25,000 | Maker / retailer only |
| E-liquid | 18 mL | not in page text | Maker / nobody read |
| Nicotine | 5% | not in page text | Maker / nobody read |
| Battery | 820 mAh | 1000 mAh | Retailer only / maker homepage tile |
| Coil | Dual Mesh Coil, Dual Core | 0.6Ω Dual Mesh Coil | Maker, both |
| Screen | VPU Inside | 3D Curved Screen | Maker, both |
The Pulse X row comes from geekbar.com’s Pulse X page, whose spec strip reads “Regular 25K Puffs Pulse 15K Puffs 18 mL 5% Nicotine”. Its text gives no battery capacity.
The Pulse X 2 page footnotes its one number: “*50000 puffs based on GEEKLAB internal testing under REGULAR Mode only.” Greps of its text on 15 September 2026 for spec words and any digit returned nothing else: no mL, no mAh, no Pulse-mode count, no strength. The 0.6Ω coil, 3D Curved Screen and 1000 mAh battery are from the X 2’s tile on the maker’s homepage. The URL /product/PulseX2.html, the pattern the Pulse X page uses, redirects to the maker’s error page (“Request Fail! The page you are looking for does not exist!”); the live page is /product/PULSE-X-2.html.
The 25,000 Pulse-mode figure and the Pulse X’s 820 mAh are from Zuluvape’s 28 July 2026 comparison.
The yardstick the 50,000 claim cannot yet meet
The maker’s Pulse X figures work out to about 1,389 puffs per mL in Regular mode and 833 in Pulse mode, our arithmetic. The X 2’s 50,000 cannot be held to that rate until a capacity is published. How that trade works is in puff-count claims, reviewed against what a device can actually hold; the previous generation is in Pulse X vs Pulse 15000.
Is the Geek Bar Pulse X discontinued?
Retailers say so. Zuluvape’s 28 July 2026 post states Geek Bar is “officially transitioning away” from the Pulse and Pulse X, and cites nothing. The maker has not said it anywhere this desk read: on 15 September 2026 geekbar.com’s homepage HTML still linked to /product/PulseX.html, and that page still loaded with its full spec line.
Is the Geek Bar X2 better than the Pulse X?
One maker figure is comparable: Regular-mode puffs, 25K against a footnoted 50,000. Pulse-mode count, e-liquid volume and strength for the X 2 are retailer-stated or absent from the maker’s page text as read on 15 September 2026. The maker has not yet published enough to say.
Is the Geek Bar Pulse X 2 worth the upgrade?
Only if a doubled puff count sits on a doubled tank, and the maker’s page text does not state the X 2’s e-liquid volume. The Pulse X does 25,000 puffs from 18 mL, about 1,389 per mL by our arithmetic; the 50,000 figure cannot yet be held to that yardstick.
These are nicotine products, addictive ones, and not a reason for anyone who does not already vape to start.
